VBSFCU collects standard non- identifying information about visits to our site such as time and date visited, IP address, and country of origin.  This information is used to compile standard statistics on site use.

Our site uses a form for members to request information on products and services, and an online loan application.  Both of these forms collect visitors contact information (such as e-mail address), unique identifiers (such as social security number) and some financial information (such as account numbers).   This information is used to contact the requestor when necessary.  The unique identifiers and any financial information is used to check a user's qualifications, the same as if the visitor had come into one of our offices.

Any online information transmitted is sent via a 128 bit encryption to ensure privacy of your personal data.  We use secure servers for all forms, applications, and your account information.  Employees with access to personal information are required by credit union bylaws to maintain the confidentiality of any information transmitted.

Our kids pages do not collect any online information.  We do not try to entice children by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity to persuade the child to divulge information.
