Any online information transmitted is sent via a 128 bit encryption to ensure privacy of your personal data. We use secure servers for all forms, applications, and your account information. Employees with access to personal information are required by credit union bylaws to maintain the confidentiality of any information transmitted.
	Smart Loans.org Security
Virginia Beach Schools FCU uses secure firewalls to ensure that no unauthorized access is permitted. These firewalls have been tested by an independent professional consulting service firm to ensure that they cannot be breached. Every effort has been made to ensure that this system is as secure as possible.
	SmartLink.org Security
SMARTLINK provides secure communications using 128-bit encryption security. SMARTLINK requires the use of a browser which supports at least 128-bit encryption. The browser that you are running determines which level of security that will be used for your connection. If you are currently using a 40-bit encryption browser you will need to upgrade to a more secure 128-bit encryption browser, you can download the browser from either Netscape or Microsoft. Your Passcode is used to authenticate you each time you log on to SMARTLINK. The confidentiality of your accounts is maintained as the data is passed from our host to your personal computer in an encrypted format, where your browser then decodes the information for you to view. This prevents data from being intercepted by an unauthorized party. Virginia Beach Schools FCU uses secure firewalls to ensure that no unauthorized access is permitted.
