Why do you partner with local schools?
We believe in giving back and becoming a partner to our local community through financial education, teacher support programs, and Do Good; one of our community giveback programs.
How does a partnership with VBSFCU benefit local schools?
Our school and local community partnerships are a mutually supportive relationship between VBSFCU and local schools in which we commit ourselves to specific goals and activities intended to benefit all.
In addition to improving the education experience for students, VBSFCU believes ongoing involvement and support enhances goodwill and a stronger presence in the community.
Community engagement not only makes a positive impact on education, helping to relate academic learning to real-world applications, but it also demonstrates that the community values education and is committed to helping prepare students with the foundation they need to be successful today and into adulthood.
