If you are already a VBSFCU Green Account Teen member, you will automatically transition to a Bridge account when you turn 18.

What happens when I turn 24?
On your 24th birthday, your account will automatically transition to our Smart Choice Checking account.

Visiting CU Service Centers is another great way to stay connected with your VBSFCU accounts. There are over 1,100 CU Service Centers nationwide, look for the “swirl” and you’ll be able to do deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and balance inquiries on your VBSFCU accounts.

What happens when I turn 24?
When you turn 24, you will automatically be enrolled in our SmartChoice Checking program. We also offer a Basic Checking account. Make sure to consult with your favorite Member Sevice Representative on what’s the best option for you!
Do you offer adult financial education?
Yes, we offer information on our website, and also partner with a local program called Bank On Hampton Roads. Bank On is a free adult financial education program.
